MARION, Ind. -- Rocky Mountain College's Cesar Mireles has qualified for Saturday's finals in the 1,500-meter run at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at Indiana Wesleyan University. Mireles, a senior from Mexicali, Mexico, was clocked at three minutes, 52.84 seconds during Thursday's preliminaries to earn one of the 12 berths to the finals. His time, registered under hot, windy conditions, is a new school record and personal best.
