SPEARFISH, S.D. -- Rocky Mountain College's Shawn Peden and Fred Petsch finished 1-2 in the 1,000 meters on Saturday at Black Hills State's Dave Little Alumni Mile indoor track meet at the Don Young Center. Peden, a sophomore, won with a clocking of 2:37.49, with Petsch, a freshman, taking second at 2:38.77. Both are former Billings West athletes. Peden also placed sixth in the mile at 4:27.43.
