Indoor Track and Field Passes out Season AwardsPublished by
Montana State Track and Field announced its annual awards for the 2016 indoor season. TOP GUN AWARD: Given to the male and female who recorded the most number of points during the indoor season. JESSICA CHRISP (Jr./Deer Park, WA) Chrisp placed sixth in the pentathlon at the Big Sky Conference championships, scoring 3,601 points. The sophomore also placed sixth in the high jump and consistently finished in the top five in the high jump, long jump and 60 hurdles throughout the season. She earned PR's in every event and ranks among the top six in school history in the pentathlon. MITCH HORNING (So./Eugene, OR) Horning advanced to the finals in the 60 and 200 at the conference championships, placing fourth in the 60 and seventh in the 200.
