VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Rocky Mountain College junior Noah Kiprono placed 70th out of 312 runners Saturday at the NAIA cross country championships at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Kiprono raced through the eight-kilometer (4.9 miles) course in a time of 25 minutes, 28 seconds. He tied with Lewis-Clark State's Jimmy Oribo, who was the runner of the year in the Frontier Conference this season.
